Episode 15 "The launch, the tour, and Old Shep speaks"

<Storyteller> Ambrose waves you aboard the ship. The crew are all busy with the small details of getting the ship ready to launch. Brianna is standing next to Ambrose.
* William boards the ship, frowning in disdain
* Brianna watches William, wondering who he is
* Remy climbs aboard, smiling. "Brianna, meet William."
* William whispers a prayer for the poor souls that make up the ship
<Storyteller> You hear a cry of "Captian on deck!" and the crew scramble to attention
* Gerard boards the ship, trying to remember where his cabin is.
* Brianna smiles back at Remy, then looks at William
<Brianna> "Hello William," Brianna says, offering him her hand
* Nachabe takes his spot as helmsmen
* William turns to Brianna. "Greetings. I am William O'Connor. I will be serving in the position of Ship's Pardoner for your Cohort."
* Remy salutes the crew
<Ambrose> "Welcome aboard, everyone. This is your crew." she says as she motions to the crew
<Storyteller> The crew salute back
<William> {Bri: Don't trust him. He thinks he can protect everyone from oblivion. He can't. He'll fail because he is weak. You are the only one who is safe. I am the only one who can protect you from Oblivion. }
* Brianna blinks
<Ambrose> "Well then I'll leave you to your launch. Good luck!" she says as she walks down the plank.
* Ambrose waves a final time and begin the long walk back to her office. Her armed guards crowd around her to keep her safe.
* Remy bows to Ambrose "Merci, Ambrose."
<Storyteller> One of the men steps forward
<Brianna> "I'm the ship's healer. Nice to meet you," she tells William, her voice wavering only slightly
* William bows
* William turns to Nachabe
<Friday> "Welcome aboard," he says with a smile. "The name's Friday. I'm your Interpretor."
* William whispers "Where is the cabin of your friend?"
<Friday> "And apparently your tour guide."
<Remy> "Bonjour, Friday. A pleasure to meet you."
* Remy offers his hand to Friday
* Friday shakes Remy's hand.
* Remy points out Eriks room to William
<Friday> "Before we take off, there's something important we have to do."
<Friday> "Follow me please."
* Friday heads over to the captian's quarters.
* Nachabe looks at him
* Remy follows Friday
* Brianna follows Friday
* Friday waits for you
* Remy brought the cargo that the ambassadors gave him
<Friday> "After you," he says as he opens the door.
<William> "Thank you."
* Gerard goes to the cabin, not really caring about what he has to say.
<Remy> "Merci."
* Remy steps in
<William> "I have something to do. I will be with you when I am done."

William, Gerard & Erik
* William goes down toward the crew cabins and Erik's door
* William knocks on Erik's door
<Erik> "Fuck off."
<William> "Why?"
<Erik> "I don't want to talk to anyone."
<Gerard> "Good to know that."
<William> "Why?"
<Erik> "I said I don't want to talk about it."
* Gerard taps on William's shoulder. "When he gets like this, it would be wise of you not to bother him until he is done with his little fit."
<William> "Talk about what?"
<Erik> "Look, asshole, fuck off. I don't want to talk about it."
<Nachabe> {Erik: Push them away...you don't need them}
<Gerard> "Um William, leave Erik alone. Its for the better."
<William> "What don't you want to talk about? If you don't tell me I might accidentally ask about it."
<Erik> {William:It appears he's been corrupted. *oh*...did _I_ do that? hehehehehe}
<Gerard> "Its your funeral William. I'm leaving."
* Gerard leaves William and heads to where the rest are.
* Erik opens the door, a look of rage in his eyes
* William frowns.
* William meets his gaze calmly
<Erik> "LOOK. FUCK OFF."
<William> "Why? I have done nothing to you?"
<William> "The Devil on you shoulder whispers to you, doesn't he."
* Erik opens his mouth and lets loose a scream of rage(Keening 1)
* William resists
* William grasps his cross, fighting him
<William> "He tells you I am here to hurt you."
<Erik> {William:See? I have taken his soul...}
<William> (He is confused but he is not yours!)
* Erik slams his door and retreats back into his room
* William opens the door
* Erik draws his gladius
<Erik> "Get the fuck out of my room NOW."
* William steps back
<William> "I am here to help you. I will leave you alone when you tell me what happened to make you so angry."
<Erik> "You should ask the others. It was their fault, after all."
<William> "What did they do to you?"
* Gerard goes back to where William and Erik are.
<Erik> "I...I've said too much."
* Erik closes his door
<William> "I am here to help you."
<Gerard> "Problem?"
* William shakes his head, having started to get through
<William> "When you are ready I am here to listen. You will feel better."
<Erik> "No...I won't."
<Nachabe> {Erik: Kill them all....make them all pay}
<Erik> (Soon...they will pay, but death is too good for them)
<William> "The Devil tells you not to tell me, doesn't he? He doesn't want you to heal. He wants to consume you."
<Gerard> "William, I have tried helping him as well. He is too tainted. It will take more than you or I have to help him."
<Erik> "The devil tells me to cut out your still beating heart and eat it. I'm very close to taking him up on his offer."
<Nachabe> {Erik: Coward...you sit here and whimper with them all around you laughing at you, because they know that you will never do anything to them but sit there and hollar and scream like a child....}
<William> "Why haven't you?"
<Erik> "Would you like me to, then?"
<Gerard> "I wouldn't encourage him, he might come out and kill you."
* William whispers to Gerard "He must first begin the healing."
<William> "There must be a reason you haven't. I don't think you want to."
<Gerard> "But you can't do it on your own. We will need help to heal him."
* Erik opens the door, gladius in hand
<William> "You know I have done nothing but try to help you."
<Erik> "You tread a fine line. I suggest you push me no further."
* Gerard has his hand on his Gladius, in case Erik does try to attack.
* William puts his hand in front of Gerard, "Leave us."
<Gerard> "Your funeral then."
* Gerard leaves.
<William> "I didn't do it. I wasn't there. I didn't leave you."
<Erik> "I don't care. You're pissing me off NOW."
* William nods. "I will go then. Remember my words the next time the Devil whispers to you. Take his words with less than a grain of salt."
* William backs away from the door
<Erik> "The devil is a figment of a shattered mind."
<Erik> "And the same goes for your "God"."

Back in Remy's Cabin
<Storyteller> You enter the cabin and there on the table is six small soul forged balls
<Storyteller> no bigger than pinballs
* Friday picks up one and hands everyone one.
<Friday> "These are Return Balls."
<Remy> "You don' say?"
* Brianna arches an eyebrow
<Friday> "If the unfortunate Harrowing happens it will return you to the ship, rather than New York."
* Brianna looks at the ball
* Nachabe takes one and then returns to the helmsmens position
<Friday> "Just put them...ahem..ummm in your mouths and it's good for one return."
<Brianna> "Now?"
<Remy> Nach: {Oblivion balls! He lies!. On second thought, please use it when you come to play with me. *chuckle*}
<Friday> "Yep."
<William> {Bri: Don't take it. Don't Trust him. You Trusted Connor, remember. You trusted the whole Cabal. Look where it got you.}
* Brianna blanches and looks at Friday
<Brianna> "How are we supposed to talk if we've got these things in our mouths?"
<Remy> "You want us to eat these?"
* Remy arches a brow
<William> {bri: They'll all fail you eventually, just like Connor did. You died trying to help them and you ended up here. Connor did nothing to try and help you. None of them did. If he REALLY loved you do you think you would still be here?}
<Friday> "It'll melt and join your Corpus. Trust me."
<Friday> "Every one of the crew takes them. It's required."
* Remy shrugs
* Brianna sighs in resignation and puts one of them in her mouth
<Remy> "Bottoms up."
* Remy eats the ball
<Gerard> "What did I miss?" asks Gerard to Friday.
* Gerard looks at the ball. "What the heck is this? What's it for?"
<Brianna> {Ger: that's right, leave Erik. He's past saving anyway.}
<Storyteller> As it goes in your mouth you feel it melt and dissolve into your corpus. It very much tastes like copper.
* Brianna makes a face as the coppery taste fills her mouth
<Gerard> (I'm not leaving Erik, just letting him face his own problems.)
<Friday> "Ah good. Well now, we are ready to go, whenever you are ready Captain."
* Remy nods. "Is the crew all on board?"
<Brianna> {Gerard : Very good!}
<Gerard> (I know. Erik can be saved. But William must learn how.)
<Friday> "Yes sir."
* Gerard takes one of the balls. "What am I supposed to do with this?"
<Friday> "Swallow it."
<Brianna> "Eat it."
* Gerard eats it.
* Brianna smiles at Gerard and warns him that it doesn't taste very good
* William never entered
<Remy> "Is all the cargo loaded?"
<Friday> "Yes sir."
* Remy nods. "Le's get going, den."
* Gerard has a sour look on his face. "Tasted like lemon curry."
<Remy> "Hey now, nothing wrong with curry." *smiles*
* Remy moves out to the deck
<Remy> "Alright, men. Le's raise anchor!"
<Storyteller> "Aye aye sir!" yells the crew as they raise anchor and hoist the sails.
<Storyteller> There is a great lurch and the ship begins to glide across the Tempest.
* Brianna holds on to the rail and looks towards the horizon
* Friday smiles
<Friday> "Well sir, let me introduce you to the crew."
* Remy nods. "Good idea, Friday."
* Friday leads you down the ship and introduces you to the crew.
* William returns to the deck, still calm, Erik's shouting and anger having washed over him like water against stone.
* William looks around on deck
* William approaches Remy
<William> "What was the meeting about?"
<Remy> "You gonna need one of these return balls or what not. Ask Friday for one."
<Friday> "Here you are," he says as he hands you one.
* William takes one look at the soulforged sphere.
<William> "No."
* Erik leaves his sulking to go up on the bridge
* Erik looks out over the horizon from a rail
<William> "Serving on this ship, forged from the souls of the helpless and innocent is not something I enjoy but I make an exception."
* William looks at Erik.
* William is not near him though
* Brianna glances over at Erik then looks away, uncertain whether or not he would welcome conversation
* Gerard sees Erik come on board, and quietly stays away from him.
* William approaches Brianna
<Storyteller> The Tempest is dark and foreboding, clouds of grey and shadow hover off in the distance
<Remy> "We don' like this soul forging any better than you do, William."
* Brianna turns when she hears William approach
<Nachabe> {Erik: Push one of them overboard...make them feel what you have gone through}
<William> "May I speak to you about Erik?"
* Brianna nods
* William leads Brianna to the other side of the deck
<William> "Erik's anger is directed toward your cohort. He blames all of you for something."
* Brianna nods slowly
<William> "What happened to him?"
* William leads Brianna to the other side of the deck
<Brianna> "He was sent to a destruction harrowing.."
<William> "I am trying to help him, and I began to get through, but I can't get him to tell me what happened."
* William frowns and nods in understanding.
<William> "And he blames you for abandoning him."
<Brianna> "I don't know exactly what happened, but he blames us for leaving him."
<William> "Thank you."
* Brianna nods
<Friday> "Captain, it is time to chack our mission statements."
<Brianna> "I wish that I could be of more help, but we weren't there when it happened and so I don't know exactly what went on."
<Brianna> "Nor do I know why he blames us.."
* William walks away, considering how, and how soon, to approach Erik again, with out sending him back, and deeper, into his shell
* Erik starts sniffing around
<Erik> "Sam...?"
<Friday> "Captain?"
* William approaches the railing, about 10 feet from Erik.
<Nachabe> {Erik: Recognize that? I picked it up on my last outing...you know when you were in that hell in the Tempest...I had a good time}
* Remy nods
<Erik> "You bastard..."
<Remy> "Yes, Friday?"
<Friday> "I'll show you where they are."
* Friday motions you to follow him.
<Remy> "Where who are?"
* William turns to Erik "I'm sorry?"
<Friday> "The mission statements sir."
* Erik has a confused look on his face
<Erik> "What the fuck are you talking about?"
<Friday> "Follow me."
* Remy follows Friday
* Friday leads you into your cabin, and shows you several safe like slots in your wall.
<William> "I thought you were speaking to me. I'm sorry. Would you prefer that I enjoy the view from over there?" William points to a spot about 5 feet away.
* Remy eyes them curiously
* Brianna absently twists a strand of hair between her fingers, keeping her eyes out towards the sea
<Friday> "These are where the mission statements are. They tell us what we are supposed to be doing."
<Erik> "I'd prefer if you enjoyed the view on the opposite side of the ship.
* Brianna frowns
<Remy> "Which one do we open?"
* Brianna shivers and looks around
<Erik> {William: You'll never save him...he's one of us now, for good.}
* Nachabe continues to navigate
* Brianna braces herself against the railing for support
<Brianna> "I don't feel so good.."
<Friday> "The number one slot."
* William nods.
* Brianna 's knees buckle and she sinks to the ground
* Erik looks around for people nearby, a glint of malice in his eyes
<Remy> Nach {I hope you're looking foreward to a trip to your homeland}
* Gerard makes sure Erik is not around him.
* Remy opens the slot, and looks inside
<William> "As you wish."
<Remy> "Hey, Friday, is it possible for a captain to change his first mate?"
* Brianna 's eyes glaze over
<Storyteller> you open the slot and a small letter is inside
* Erik looks at Brianna, and the malice in his eyes is replaced by conflicting emotions
* Remy opens it up, and takes a look inside
<Friday> "Umm sure yeah. It's happened once or twice."
* Erik puts his hand on his gladus as if about to draw it
<Remy> "Alright. Just curious. I hope it isn't necessary..."
<Storyteller> You open the letter and there is writing on it
* William walks away and whispers aloud just loud enough for Erik to catch the last line. "No, he is not yours. You are weak. He has a strong will. Once he directs it at you, your influence will be gone."
<Remy> Nach {I hope you're looking foreward to a trip to your homeland.....}
* William looks at Brianna, and approaches her
* Remy reads the writing
<William> "What is wrong?"
* Brianna 's eyes remain unfocused and glazed over
* Erik looks at William getting closer to Brianna and goes back to watching the horizon
<_Nachabe_> (Yes I am thanks for asking)
<Storyteller> :Escort Beu and Rochelle Worthington and their cargo from Necropolis Atlanta to Necropolis London.:
* Brianna slowly blinks her eyes, holding her head in her hands
<William> "What is wrong?"
* Brianna shivers, though not from the cold
<Remy> Nachabe {Good...the resulting plague we spread will bring sweet Oblivion to all your people. And I personally will suck the marrow from your fathers bones. Can you taste it, Nachabe?}
* Remy nods
* Brianna looks up at William, then grabs onto the railing and pulls herself to her feet. "N...nothing. It happens sometimes. I receive visions...I need to talk to Remy, where is he?"
* William helps Brianna stand
<Remy> "You know who Beu and Rochelle Worthington are?"
<William> "I believe I saw him go to his cabin with Friday."
<Friday> "No sir."
<_Nachabe_> (I would like to know how you will do this Dark one? You have not the power and you know it)
<Remy> "Huh. Not famous or nothing?"
* William helps Brianna walk to Remy's cabin
<Brianna> "Thanks.." she walks a bit unsteadily towards the cabins and looks for Remy
* Brianna leans on William for support
<Remy> Nach {You will find out soon enough, my boy. Oh, you will see....*evil laughter*}
<_Nachabe_> (Right Dark One.....We will see....we will see)
<William> {Bri: How quickly you forget Connor. Some true love!}
<Storyteller> You reach Remy's cabin and open the door
<Brianna> {Nothing is forgotten! Never!}
<Brianna> "Remy..I had another vision.."
<Brianna> "I didn't see much but I think that it's important."
* Remy looks to Brianna, a bit worried. "Are you alright?"
<Brianna> "I..I saw myself on the ship. I was crying, and screaming, 'oh my god, they're killing him! Oh my god!'" she looks at you, worried. "I couldn't see anyone or anything else.. I don't know who was being killed..."
* William walks back up to the deck after helping Brianna to Remy's cabin.
<Brianna> "That's all that I saw.. I tried to see more, but I have no control over the visions." Brianna has an anguished look on her face. "Something horrible is going to happen! But I couldn't tell to whom."
* William stands on the deck, watching Erik from out of Erik's line of sight.
<Remy> "You're right...that could be trouble...don't dwell on it now, Bri. We have the warning, and perhaps we can change it. Are you feeling ok?"
* Friday walks out of the cabin and onto the deck.
* Gerard heads back to his cabin and begins to do some writing.
* Brianna shakes her head
<Brianna> "Yes, I'm fine now. It's just so frustrating.."
* Remy nods
<Remy> "I know, cher. You just gotta trust the Fates..."
* Remy gives Brianna a hug
* Brianna sighs and nods a bit sadly
* Brianna hugs Remy back
<Brianna> "Thanks."
* Erik looks out over the horizon with a mournful expression on his face
<Brianna> "I'm going to go back on deck, if anything else happens I'll let you know."
* Remy nods. "Thanks."
* William walks to the railing and leans on it, staring out.
<Storyteller> The crew seems to be hanging out on the deck, most of the hard part is done, now they are all engeged in busy work.
<William> "Dismal isn't it?"
<Erik> "Actually no. I like it."
* Remy smiles at the crew members, and sets about remembering their names
* William shrugs.
* Brianna reaches the deck of the ship and walks around a little, trying to forget what she has seen
<William> "So how long has this cohort been together?"
<Erik> "A little while."
<Remy> "Alright crew! We are headed to the Necropolis of Atlanta, to pick up Beu and Rochelle Worthington."
* Gerard is very happy that no one on board knows his secrets.
<William> "Sometimes, when I'm looking out there, the memories of how I got here come to mind."
<Brianna> {Ger: don't be so sure...you see how Erik looks at you...}
* Nachabe steers the ship towards Atlanta
<Erik> "When I look out here, the only thing I can see is my last day alive."
<Gerard> (Erik knows nothing. He is merely clouded by his shadow.)
<Erik> "Fuck, this is a metaphor for my entire life."
<William> "I was gunned down. The single most important thing to me was within my grasp, and I died within feet of it."
<William> "I don't even know why."
* Friday sits near one of the men working on patching up a small hole in the deck
<Erik> "I know why I died. It was because of my thrice-damned father."
<Friday> "What are you doing?"
* OldShep looks up at him and shakes his head
<Remy> "Holes already?"
* OldShep nods and goes back to work
* Brianna looks over. "Something wrong with the ship?"
* OldShep points to the small pinball shape hole, "Return balls."
<William> "He beat you, correct?"
<Remy> "Pardon?"
* Brianna moves closer to look "Return balls?"
<Erik> "Everyone did."
<Remy> "You installing them, or removing them?"
* Remy looks a bit confused
* William frowns.
<OldShep> "Removing them."
* Brianna looks at Remy. "Just what exactly *are* those balls we ate, anyway?"
* William looks at Erik thoughtfully
<Remy> "Why are you removing them? Were they supposed to be there?"
* OldShep is an older looking African man. He has kind eyes and a quiet way about him.
<William> "Not everyone though?"
<OldShep> "They aren't, I'm covering them up."
* Remy whispers to Brianna "I'm not entirely sure, but if they're bad, then I think I can remove them."
* OldShep sighs, "Done."
* Brianna looks relieved and whispers back, "Good, I was beginning to worry.."
* OdShep stands and sits down.
<Remy> "Why are you covering dem up?"
<Remy> "Okay, what are they there for in the first place?"
<William> "Who were your friends?"
<OldShep> "You could trip over them." he smiles. "A return ball is made up of the ship you want to returns to."
<Erik> "What friends?"
* Remy nods
<Remy> "Alright then."
* Remy grins
* OldShep motions to a a couple of crates
<Remy> "Thanks for the explination."
<OldShep> "Sit."
* Remy takes a seat
<OldShep> "You too, miss."
* Erik mutters "God I'd love to wipe that grin off his face..."
<Remy> "How long have you been sailing, Old Shep?"
* Brianna sits down
* OldShep sighs as he thinks back.
<William> "There were people that nice to you. Think back as far as you can. I'll bet you can name oh 3 right off the bat."
<OldShep> "Well, I died in 64..that's 1864, so about two hundred odd years."
<Erik> "No, I can't. There was Sam, and that was all."
* Remy nods. "I'm glad to have one so experienced on board, then."
<William> "See. Everyone has somebody they cared about."
<William> "And that cared about them just as much."
* OldShep smiles at Remy
<Erik> "I won the bet though. There was only one."
* Brianna hears that he has been here for so long and dispairs of ever getting out of this place
* Gerard continues to write his new book on the different wratihs and the creatures of this world.
<OldShep> "I been on lots of ships, and I like it well enough."
<OldShep> "I can tell you are new to all this, and that's ok, I suppose."
<William> "But I'll bet Sam was enough."
* Remy nods. "Yep. Died not so long ago."
* OldShep turns to Brianna.
<Remy> "Been busy ever since."
* Remy smiles
<OldShep> "I see you got the mark Fate upon you."
<Erik> "Yes, but I wasted so much time it was worthless...we only ever got to know each other a few weeks before I was killed."
* Brianna nods, a sadness in her eyes
<OldShep> "You both do, but she has the webbing."
* Remy nods
* Brianna looks down at her extra finger
<OldShep> "It happens moslty to women..."
* Brianna looks up. "It does? Why?"
<William> "Was it really a waste of time? Knowing somebody cared about you? You had someone like that. I didn't. I distanced myself from people in my quest. I wish I hadn't."
<OldShep> "Cause the Lady of Fate likes her own."
<Brianna> "What do you know about her?"
<OldShep> "She is a Lady after all."
<OldShep> "I seen her, and Charon."
* Brianna looks at old Shep hopefully
<OldShep> "I was there when Charon was lost."
<Remy> "You don' say?"
<OldShep>ldShep> "I remember that day well."
<Brianna> "What happened?"
<Erik> "I wasn't talking about the time we had together being a waste of time."
* Remy looks a bit surprised, and leans in a bit closer
* Gerard writes about 35 pages in the book before going on deck to get some air.
<Erik> "I'm talking about the fact that I waited so damn long to talk to her."
<OldShep> "I was working on the Charon's Oar. She was a big ship, three times the size of this one. We had just gotten back from a three week detail."
<William> "But wasn't it worth all the wait in the end?"
<Friday> "Hey everyone, Old Shep's gotta story! Come on over." he says and leans in to get a better seat.
<Erik> "Yes, but it's useless now. I never get to see her, and when I do, my little friend in my head always fucks things up."
* Gerard sees Remy and Brianna. "So, what's been going on?"
* Brianna looks up at Gerard. "Old Shep here says he saw the Lady and Charon.."
<Gerard> "Really, interesting."
<William> "You know, you did win our bet. I guess I owe you something."
<OldShep> "So, we just pulled in and we are doing the usual take down on her when all of a sudden it get's quiet. I mean real quiet."
<William> "IF you will accept it, I can help you. So that you can talk to her."
<OldShep> "The Tempest get's all calm and even the waves stopped moving. It looked like a sheet of black glass."
<Erik> "Depends. What do I have to do?"
* Brianna listens to Old Shep, face intent as she listens to his story
<OldShep> "Then there was this incredible noise, like two bombs being dropped. It knocked the waves and set Maelstrom like no one has ever seen."
<Remy> "The A bomb?"
<OldShep> "Spectres were everywhere, and the ships were all up ended. I ran over the side and flew to shore. I was lucky to get in the gates."
<OldShep> "Yeah the a bomb."
<William> "I will bless you."
<Erik> "Stay away."
<William> "As you wish."
<Erik> "I want nothing to do with your religion."
<OldShep> "So anyway, spectres are attacking and for three days the forces of the city held them off. But we lost a few let me tell you."
<OldShep> "Anyways, on the fourth day, the attack stopped. Just stopped. Like before. The wind was gone and the Tempest calmed right down."
<William> "What's wrong with faith?"
<OldShep> "The all of a sudden there was the whirlpool, and it began to spin and suck in all these great ships."
<Erik> "Everything."
<OldShep> "And there was this roar, this terrible roar, and something came out of it. Something big."
<Erik> "Faith is the cause of ost of the pain in this world."
<OldShep> "A Malfean. And boy was he ugly."
* Brianna shivers
<William> "Hmm..."
* Remy wonders if it was Markova...
<OldShep> "He began to roar again and I looked away, and that's when I saw the Ladies of Fate standing on thier Island."
<OldShep> "All three of them standing there watching...waiting."
<William> "I don't have to bless you. It doesn't have to be religious. I can simply listen, while you talk to me, like you have been. I will swear my most holy oath that what you say will be between us."
<OldShep> "And then I saw a man heading down the path, all those infront of him let him pass. He got right next to me and smiled a weary little smile at me, and then opened the gate."
<OldShep> "He took out from his cloak this huge scythe and he took to a reed boat and sailed right for it."
<Erik> "What more do you need to hear? I know I'm going to be the downfall of this ship, and I don't care because they decided to let me die instead of their 'oh so mighty' leader. The bastard."
<OldShep> "The thing began to scream it's name, Gorool."
* William shakes his head
<OldShep> "Charon took his scythe and slashed at the water and made another whirlpool. He slashed at the malfean and then dived into the pool. Well let me tell you that malfean was so pissed that he followed Charon right down into it. And that's where it all ended."
<William> "You are the First Mate. You are worthy of the position."
<Erik> "I don't even care what happens to me now...they can all go to hell for all I care."
<William> "You are strong."
* OldShep sits back
<OldShep> "That's my story."
<Erik> "Mentally, yes. However, the only thing that matters is how physically strong you are. Nice fuckin' world we live in."
* Remy nods. "What happened after that?"
<William> "But you aren't doing this for them. You're doing it for someone more important."
<Brianna> "Wow.."
<OldShep> "I looked over to the Ladies and they all seemed to be in tears."
<Gerard> "Amazing."
<OldShep> "Well they rebuilt the ships and all repaired the damage to the city."
* Remy nods, and laughs a bit, patting Old Shep on the shoulder. "One hell of a tale, my friend."

* Remy nods.
