In life, Connor was an honorable, yet hotheaded Mage. The Leader of the Chosen Cabal located in Salt Lake city. He is leadership was constantly questioned by the headstrong members of the group and Connor bristled at this. However, one thing was a constant blessing for him, Brianna's love.

 He and Brianna had a short and sweet romance that came to a terrible end one night in an ambush. While healing a member of the Cabal, Brianna was shot and killed. Unable to face life without her, Connor commited suicide.

 Connor found himself in the Salt Lake city Shadowlands, and decided to give existance one more try. It didn't last. Still he could not exist without Brianna, and for the second time, Connor commited suicide by throwing himself into a Nihil.

 Once again Connor's deathwish was thwarted, and he found himself a Doppleganger. Now his love for Brianna was perveted into a love/hate passion that consumes him. He set out to find her, and find her he did, in the Shadowlands of New York. Here he torments her in hopes of converting her to the worship of the Blighted Sun.
