History: Mateo knows little of his past life. He believes he may have been part of a crime family, but he's not sure which one. He did not serve long as a legionnaire, and made the rank of centurion quickly. His patrol was one of the most decorated in the city, wraiths still talk of his daring raid into specter territory to recover a powerful relic. Since becoming Anaceron, Mateo has made some popular changes in his legion. He is friends with Lady Anne and supports her in her views of the Martial law.

Role-playing notes: A sincere, expressive man, Mateo likes acting like the Don of a crime family. He enjoys the comforts, and power that come with being Anaceron, and lives it to the fullest. On first impression, Mateo looks to be out of touch with his men, but listening to him, you will note that he is not. He personally knows every legionnaire under his command.
