History: 
 Stuart Kowalski(aka Friday) was always facinated with languages and the way people communicate. He loved it so much in fact, that he took Communications at Stanton University. He graduated with top honors, and joined the Navy to continue his career. He found himself stationed aboard a nuclear submarine, Tippacanoe.

 Stuart spent ten years in the Navy and he loved every minute of his tenure. Unfortunately, fate had other plans. While playing tag football on shore leave, Stuart fell and broke his neck. Due to his friends quick action, Stuart didn't die, although he wished he had. Stuart found himself paralyzed from the neck down.

 When he was healthy enough to leave the hospital, the Navy discharged him and sent him home. Unable to continue the career he had loved so much, and faced with the fact of living in a wheel- chair for the rest of his life, Stuart took an overdose of morphine.

 Stuart found himself in the Shadowlands, able to walk, talk, and all the other things he used to do before the accident. He was recruited by the Silent Legion and when asked what were his talents, he said "Languages".

 Friday(as the crew call him) considers himself lucky to have a second chance at doing what he loves best, languages. So when he was asked to be the interpretor for the new ship, Ulysses, he jumped at the chance. Friday is fluent in these languages; Jadian, Swarian, Ivory, Amenti, and Kartan.
