<Storyteller> All has been quiet the past day as you prep the ship for the last time.
Ahuru has stayed with you to help
* Ahuru looks about and smiles, "She has returned."
<Storyteller> "Brianna?" Remy asks
* Brianna opens her eyes, unsure for a moment where she is
* Brianna stands and looks over at the web rose lying on her desk then exits the
cabin and goes up on deck
* Brianna walks up onto the deck and goes directly towards Ahuru
* Hans is helping the others out.
* Ahuru embraces Brianna
* Brianna hugs Ahuru tightly
* Brianna lifts her face towards Ahuru and kisses him
* Ahuru returns the kiss
<Storyteller> The crew smile and continue their work
<Ahuru> "It is good to see you safe."
* Brianna smiles at Ahuru and pulls him close to her again, not wanting to let go
<Ahuru> "It is time you left. Your journey begins, the old concludes."
<Brianna> "Yes, I know.."
<Ahuru> "Where you go, I cannot follow. But I shall be with you."
<Brianna> "And I with you, always."
* Brianna puts her arm around Ahuru and waits for the rest of the crew to board the
boat
<Ahuru> "Prepare yourselves," he says as he lets Brianna go and heads down the plank
* Brianna watches Ahuru go then goes back down to her cabin to meditate and calm
herself
<Storyteller> Remy walks over to the others
<Storyteller> "Everyone ready?"
* Angelo shrugs.
<Hans> "Ready."
<Angelo> "Ready as I'm gonna get."
* Daniel nods silently
* Brianna sits cross-legged in her cabin and closes her eyes, slowly building the
image of a rose in her mind
<Storyteller> The crew turn as several legionnaires march towards the docks
<Sanders> "Captian Remy Leclaire!"
<Storyteller> Remy turns, "I'm here."
<Sanders> "You cannot leave this city. We need you in the assault in two days."
<Sanders> "That is all, stand down," he says as he and the legionnaires walk away.
<Storyteller> Remy turns to you all, "We must make this journey, even tho it is
against direct orders. If you want to stay here in New York, I will not hold it
against you."
<Hans> "This journey is more important. I will go."
<Storyteller> Old shep stands up, "I'm with you." Friday nods, "Me too." soon the rest
of the crew are standing
<Storyteller> Remy smiles
* Daniel sighs and looks back at the city
* Angelo looks like he's teetering on a balance.
<Storyteller> "Alright then...let's finish this. Rodgers, take us out."
<Storyteller> The ship lurches as it leaves port
* Brianna feels the movement of the ship, and goes back to the deck to look at the
city
<Storyteller> Remy watches the city get further and further
* Brianna watches the city with a wistful expression on her face
* Daniel turns back to Remy. "I'll go with you, too. The greater threat lies ahead,
not back in the city..."
<Storyteller> Friday walks up to Angelo, "So where are we headed?"
* Angelo shrugs. "I ain't the captain."
* Angelo shoots a glance back at the city.
* Brianna looks at Remy. "Yes, where are we going? how long will it take to get
there!"
<Storyteller> Remy looks back, "We are going to La'hrago, to face Markova."
<Brianna> "I know the name, I just mean.. where exactly is it?"
<Storyteller> "It's out there, that's all I know."
<Angelo> "So we just sail until we hit it?"
<Storyteller> "Ahuru said we'd know where it is."
<Brianna> "Hmmm."
<Angelo> "Well, forgive my lack of sudden psychic insight, but my spider sense isn't
tingling."
<Daniel> "Perhaps...perhaps we've been there before..."
<Storyteller> The ship continues on it's way through the tempest
* Brianna looks at Daniel, a surpised expression on her face
<Brianna> "There's something to think about!"
<Daniel> "I mean...think back to every place you've been since death..."
* Brianna frowns, trying to remember
<Brianna> "Well, I don't know how I got to New York from Salt Lake.. everything is
just blank!"
<Daniel> "What happened once you got to New York, though? Or right after you died?"
* Angelo smirks.
<Angelo> "I'm a Brooklyn boy, through and through. I've always been here."
<Brianna> "Well.. what about that place we went when we first heard of Markova? Where
that malestorm opened up?"
<Daniel> "I don't think I was there...I don't remember that..."
* Brianna turns to Remy
<Brianna> "Do you remember that? When we found the writing on the wall about Markova?"
* Angelo cleans his fingernails.
<Storyteller> "I do, we were in Ellis Island."
<Angelo> "Before my time, for sure. All I know is what I've been told."
<Brianna> "Hmmm..I don't think it would be that close to here, but I'm not sure."
<Brianna> "Perhaps we must wait for the Lady to guide us."
<Daniel> "But maybe we can get to La'hrago from there..."
<Brianna> "Well that is a start. Let's head there and see what we can find."
<Storyteller> Remy nods, "Rodgers, you heard them."
<Storyteller> "Aye aye captian."
<Storyteller> The ship turns s it heads back to Ellis island
<Storyteller> William suddenly runs over to the railing, "look!"
* Brianna looks to where William is pointing
* Daniel runs over beside William. "What?"
* Angelo looks up.
<Storyteller> In the Tempest water you notice a thin blue line from Ellis island
stretching out into the Tempest
<Storyteller> "Well that looks like something. Let's follow it."
* Brianna nods excitedly
<Brianna> "Looks like we've got it!"
* Angelo goes back to cleaning his nails.
<Storyteller> "Anything else we should remember?"
* Brianna looks thoughtful
<Brianna> "Nothing I can pin down right now. I'll let you know if I think of
something."
<Daniel> "Besides the fact that he's a Malfean and we'll need to work together...and
work hard...to defeat him?"
<Angelo> "Hmm."
<Storyteller> Remy thinks, William sits and concentrates
<Angelo> "Well, that's one thing we learned from the vision of our 'own' pasts."
<Angelo> "The only time we managed to hurt him is when we banded together..."
<Angelo> "And still got our asses handed to us. How's that for encouraging?"
<Daniel> "It tells us that we have to work together from the beginning...complement
each other's strengths and make up for our individual weaknesses..."
<Storyteller> "Ahuru said he left messages for us..." Will says
<Storyteller> "Has anyone had a message yet?"
<Angelo> "Nothing yet, sorry."
<Brianna> "No, but perhaps now is not the time to receive it."
<Storyteller> "True."
* Angelo goes back to cleaning his fingernails again.
* Brianna leans on the railing, her knees buckling
<Brianna> "It's happening again.." she manages to get out before succuming to the
vision
<Storyteller> "Me too..." says remy weakly as he falls to the ground
<Storyteller> The crew rush over to you
* Daniel watches them
<Angelo> "Hey, what's going on?"
<Storyteller> Brianna begins to scream, "Oh my god they're killing him! They're
killing him!"
<Brianna> "NOooooooo!!"
* Brianna looks up at you, tears streaming down her face
<Brianna> "Ahuru!!!"
<Angelo> "What's going on?"
* Brianna covers her face
<Daniel> "Who's killing who?"
<Brianna> "Ahuru! Usher... the spectres.."
* Brianna manages to get out between sobs
<Storyteller> Remy sits up, "He's gone...he..."
<Storyteller> "he's dead..."
<Storyteller> The crew stand back and look at each other
<Angelo> "No shit?"
* Daniel looks down
<Storyteller> Remy stands slowly
<Storyteller> "What did you see, Brianna?"
* Brianna stays on the ground hands covering her face as she sobs
<Brianna> "He's gone!"
<Storyteller> Remy puts his arms around her, "What did you see?"
<Brianna> "They...they surrounded him and then he wasn't there anymore!"
<Storyteller> Remy nods
* Brianna bursts into tears again
<Storyteller> "I saw a vision of my father carrying me through the marketplace, and
asking me what kind of man I was..."
<Storyteller> "Just like his father did."
* Brianna huddles in on herself, hiding her face
<Storyteller> "He'll pay, I swear it, he'll pay..."
<Storyteller> Somewhere in New York
<Storyteller> He closes the door behind him and sighing to himself reaches underneath
his bed. Pulling out a soulforged ornate box, he puts it carefully upon the bed and
unlatches it
<Storyteller> Opening the box, he looks down at the two shiny six shooters and smiles
<Storyteller> "It's been awhile." he thinks
<Storyteller> A memory flashes across his mind.
<Storyteller> "You killed an innocent man!" he hears the voice shout.
<Storyteller> "I killed you once boy, I'll do it again."
<Storyteller> He shakes the memory out of his head and holster the two guns
<Storyteller> "Not this time, Usher...not this time."
<Storyteller> Ridley walks out into the street and onto his horse. "heya!" he shouts
kicking the horse into a full gallop
