<Storyteller> The clang of soul forged weapon upon soul forged weapon rings out on the
battlefield
<Storyteller> The din is almost enough to hurt your ears, all around you the battle
rages
<Storyteller> Paul the Younger faces his opponent and fires off several shots into
him, Ridley swings his gladius at his several attackers, Deter polishes off two
more spectres as he makes his way through the field
<Storyteller> And Brianna
* Brianna stands tall, facing Scar
<Storyteller> Brianna watches her former lover holster his guns and Moliate his arms
into blades, a long finger seems to come from one and taunt her to come
forward...if she dares
<Angelo> Angelo grabs for the spectre he was fighting before, trying to just touch it.
* Angelo grips the spectre, draining away its Corpus painfully.
<Storyteller> The spectre howls in pain
* Huntress unleashes another attack with her chains ripping at the corpus of the
spectre
<Storyteller> The chains latch on to the spectre
<Storyteller> The spectre screams in rage as more of it's corpus is ripped from it
* Huntress cackles in estacy as she rips away at the dark one's form
* Hans aims at the nearest Spectre's head with his pistol and fires.
<Storyteller> The shot hits the spectre in the head, it shakes it off and looks at you
<Hans> "Damnit!"
* Daniel steps in and slices at the spectre he had attacked before
<Storyteller> You run the spectre through and pull the blade out
* Scar slashes at Brianna
* Brianna tries to dodge out of the way
<Storyteller> The blade slices across Brianna's midsection
* Brianna moves back, sliding her hand down the haft of her staff and pushing a
hidden lever. A blade springs from it's catch and she moves in, slashing at Scar
* Hans shoots at the Spectre again.
<Storyteller> The shot hits the spectre and knocks him back
* Brianna thrusts forwards with her spear, aiming for Scar's misshapen chest
* Brianna impales him on her blade!
<Storyteller> Suddenly there is a scream, as Scar looks down at his chest
* Scar looks down at the spear a dumbfounded look on his face
<Scar> "Nooooo...noo man shall kill..."
* Scar slide's off the spear, and falls to the ground.....
<Brianna> "I am not a man," Brianna says in a cold voice as she watches him slide off
the spear
<Storyteller> The spectres all suddenly stop in their tracks, and for a moment, a
brief tiny moment, fear fills their eyes.
* Brianna raises the spear up to the heavens and screams a release
<Storyteller> A howl is raised and they begin to run, they begin to run for the
otherside of the battle, as another shout raises from outside the battle
<Storyteller> The leggionnaires begin to shout in victory as Paul turns looking at
Scar, and then to Brianna
* Scar slowly begins to fade out he reaches for Brianna
<Scar> "Help me..help me please..."
* Brianna frowns, looking down at Scar
<Storyteller> Ahuru walks over and puts a hand on her shoulder
* Scar fades into nothingness
* Brianna looks over at Ahuru, a wild look still in her eyes
<Storyteller> The legionnaires all begin to walk over astonishment on their faces
<Storyteller> Ahuru raises his scythe shouting, "Hail all hail the Apprentice! All
hail these who shall save us all!!!!!"
<Angelo> {Brianna's Shadow: "..."}
* Daniel smiles at Brianna. "Bravely and nobly fought, friend."
* Brianna blinks, the battle rage slowly fading
<Storyteller> And that is enough as the legionnaires begin to shout and raise their
galdius's and some even pick up, the Cohort and carry them on their shoulders.
picking up, Daniel, Remy, Hans, Huntress, and Angelo
* Brianna looks around at her companions, and flips the latch to conceal the blade in
her staff.
<Ahuru> "You have done well,"
* Brianna murmers "I've killed him," too softly for anyone to hear
* Angelo claps for Brianna, a wide grin on his face.
* Ahuru looks down, "Yes."
* Hans puts his pistol away.
* Brianna looks up at Ahuru
* Ahuru lifts up Brianna's chin and kisses her
* Ahuru form changes to that of Atepa
* Brianna leans against Ahuru
* Ahuru kisses her forehead, "Remember..."
* Huntress takes off her mask, beneath it you see the face of a very young black
woman, she glances at Brianna and flashes her a smile with one side of her mouth.
The other side seems paralyzed or frozen
<Brianna> "Something's wrong..."
* Brianna starts to fade out
<Ahuru> "Remember..."
* Brianna clutches at Atepa
<Storyteller> And Brianna is gone
* Angelo frowns, but says nothing.
* Hans looks to where Brianna was.
* Ahuru picks up her staff and mask
<Ahuru> "She has gone to resolve her past."
* Ahuru looks to you all
<Ahuru> "It is time for all of you to go and ready yourselves and your loved ones for
the journey that is ahead of you."
<Angelo> "So are we gonna wait for her, or what?"
<Hans> "I think we aren't Angelo. I have a bad feeling we will be doing the same
thing as Brianna did."
<Ahuru> "She shall return."
* Angelo shrugs.
<Ahuru> "Go now and prepare, the journey begins soon."
<Angelo> "Well, if we've got a chance to say goodbyes, I have some people I need to
have a word with."
<Ahuru> "And remember say what you must, do what you must, for one of you shall not
return."
* Huntress silently turns from the group and walks away
<Storyteller> William and Remy look back and nod
<Daniel> me nods solemnly
* Daniel nods solemnly
* Angelo frowns and nods.
<Angelo> "Fine. When are we gonna need to be back together?"
* Hans waves to the rest of the group. "Good luck to you all."
<Storyteller> this concludes Act Three
