Emily has traveled all over the country with her father Remy. Wherever the game went, Remy followed. Emily attended school when she could, but mostly learned her lessons on the street. This has made her street wise, but hasn't made her hard, yet.

  One night, Emily was kidnapped from her room and taken to an old abandoned warehouse. She didn't see their faces, but she knew why, her father's gambling debts. When the two men left her alone to get the ransom message to Remy, Emily escaped.

 She found her way back to their apartment, but her father had already left. She searched for him the entire night, and when she returned home, she found the police waiting for her. They took her downtown to the precinct to indentify her father's body.

 Emily loved her father, and was crushed by his death. She believes she can still feel his presence watching over her, protecting her.
